What is your top policy priority if elected? How would addressing this issue make a difference for the people you are seeking to represent and what skills or qualities do you possess that will make you an effective elected official?
Public safety: The U.S. simply cannot sustain the millions of illegal aliens already here and continue to cross the border to enter the country. A 22- year-old female student was murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. The man charged in connection with her death entered the United States unlawfully in 2022 and 2023, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The U.S. should do more to physically secure the Southern border. Education: The state of Georgia should fund education by allowing the money to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school. Property and income taxes: I support lowering tax bills to help Georgians. HB 015 passed in 2023.
Do you believe there are any existing housing regulations that need to be reformed or eliminated to better address the housing crisis facing many Georgia communities? If so, which regulations and why?
Yes. Georgia housing regulations are included in the price of a new home. When elected, I commit join the review board to recommend elimination or revise the existing unnecessary regulations to make new homes more affordable for young family.
If elected, would you work to increase state funding for schools? Why or why not?
If elected, I commit to review the funding for school choices.
What role do you believe state government should play in addressing climate change, and what specific policies or legislation would you advocate for at the state level?
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt Georgia economy.
The availability and cost of health care continues to be a concern for Georgians. Do you support Medicaid expansion? What steps, if any, should be taken to expand access to medical care in parts of the state with limited access?
No, Medicaid should remain available, but no other taxpayer funded programs are necessary.
Georgia's minimum wage is currently $5.15 per hour, below the federal hourly minimum wage, which is $7.25 in most cases. Do you support an increase in the state’s minimum wage? If so, what should be the new minimum wage? If not, share why.
When companies are required to raise the minimum wage, they will offset the newly added cost to remain profitable by reducing the hours worked per low-waged worker. The better alternative is to reduce Georgia cost of living i.e. gas and food price.
