Justin was born in Coldwater, Ohio, and currently lives in Concord, North Carolina. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is married with children was named a 40 Under 40 winner by America’s Small Business Development Center Network for 2023.

Justin currently works as a Technology Commercialization Counselor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and is the Founder & CEO of
Prohuman Tech. He previously worked as a Business Launch Specialist and as an Aerospace Alloy Trader. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2003 to 2012.
