Parisa has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and comparative literature from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from New York University. She lives with her family.

Parisa Dehghani-Tafti is currently the commonwealth's attorney for Arlington County and the City of Falls Church. She was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term.
