Jake earned his bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and his master's degree in business administration and management from Bushnell University. He and his wife, Kimberly, have five children and identify as followers of Christ.

Jake currently works as the President and Chief Executive Officer of multiple small businesses.

Jake Hoffman is currently a State Senator in State Legislative District 15. He was elected in 2023 and is serving his first term.  He previously served as a State Representative for the Arizona House of Representatives District 12 for one term from 2021 to 2023 and as Councilman in the Town of Queen Creek for one term from 2016 to 2021.
