Otho is married to his wife, and together they have three children and eight grandsons. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural science from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, a Master of Arts degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Otho B. Tucker is the Founder and CEO of Lake Oconee Academy. He has prior experience in teaching and administrative duties.
