Jamie is a lifelong resident of Fannin County and attended Fannin County High School. He and his wife Faith have two daughters and one son-in-law. Jamie attends Helping Hand Fellowship Church. He is a member of Mineral Bluff Lodge #483, president of the Fannin County Lady Rebels Softball Booster Club, and a board member of the Blue Ridge Humane Society.

Jamie is a general manager of five locations of Circuit World, promoted from a delivery driver.
