Andrew lives in Milledgeville with his wife, Gracie, and their two children.

Andrew Strickland previously ran for Baldwin County Board of Commissioners and the Milledgeville City Council but lost both races. He is a former member of the Milledgeville Planning and Zoning Commission, as well as former chairman of the Baldwin County Republican Party.
