Candidate Q&A: DeKalb County Commission District 1

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia. He resides in Tilly Mill with his wife Mary, and their two daughters and son. He currently serves on the Public Works and Infrastructure, and County Operations committees. 

Robert worked as a city planner for the City of Norcross in the Community Development Department. 

Robert Patrick is DeKalb County’s District 1 Commissioner. He was elected to this position in 2021, and is serving his first term. He previously served as a council member in the City of Doraville for two terms, and Mayor Pro Tem for three years. 

Plans to focus on enhancing customer service quality for residents and businesses, including public safety, permitting, parks, and utility billing.
