Solomon is a second-generation American, with his father having moved to the United States from Nigeria. Solomon is a graduate of Georgia State University. He resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife and three daughters. 

Solomon is the owner of the Kale Me Crazy restaurant in Smyrna and Marietta.
