Viola earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She resides in Stone Mountain. She co-founded the movement, Unhappy Taxpayer & Voter, as well as the founder of Restore DeKalb and Restore MARTA. She previously served on government committees, including Insurance, Urban Affairs, and Defense and Veterans Affairs.

Viola is a Critical care nurse. She is also a United States Army veteran, and served as a Commissioned Officer in Army and Airborne. Davis also has experience as an administrator, realtor, and business owner. 

Viola Davis currently serves as State Representative for District 87. She was elected to this position in 2018, and has served three terms.
