Jason received his bachelor's in psychology from University of Miami and his juris doctor from Emory University School of Law. He and his wife, Ariel, have two children and they reside in northwest Atlanta.

Jason is a partner at the law firm of Hudson Cook LLP, where he specializes in regulatory, litigation, privacy, and data security issues. Previously, he served as Vice President at Equifax Inc., overseeing regulatory matters, risk mitigation, and disputes and investigations. Before Equifax, he was a litigation associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (now Dentons US LLP).

Jason Esteves has been the Georgia State Senator for District 6 since 2023. He serves on several Senate Committees, including Children and Families, Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, Finance, State and Local Governmental Operations, and Interstate Cooperation, and is the Vice Chair of Finance.
