The Union-Recorder, Wanda Paul takes oath of office

Wanda has an associates degree in computer science from Georgia College & State University and an associates degree in computer and information sciences and support services from Central Georgia Technical College. She and her husband Dorman have children. 

Previously, Wanda worked as a software support specialist for Baldwin County.  She has also worked as a local courts account manager for MicroPact and the chief deputy clerk of superior court for Baldwin County.

Wanda T. Paul is currently the Baldwin County Clerk of Superior Court. She was appointed in 2023 and is seeking her first full term.

The Superior Court Clerk is the official record keeper and legal administrator of the county, as they are responsible for receiving and maintaining criminal and civil court filings. They also manage the county’s land and property records. Their duties are numerous and include administrative tasks, like accounting and administering oaths, and judicial, like maintaining legal records. They can also potentially fill in for other roles, such as State Court Clerk and Passport Acceptance Agents.
