Tonya Corbin was born in Heidelberg, Germany, and spent her formative years in Schweinfurt, Germany. She earned a degree in legal studies from Clayton State University. Tonya Corbin has a background in law enforcement, serving as a Correctional Officer/Detention Officer for 17 years. She transitioned to the legal field, working at the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office as a Legal Staff Assistant and later as a Crime Victims Advocate. Tonya also served as a paralegal for the Georgia Government Transparency & Campaign Finance Commission.
