Hannah is from Thomaston, Georgia and holds an Associate's Degree in Political Science and Government from Gordon State College and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Georgia Southwestern State University. Hannah is married to her husband, Patrick and has one daughter with him. She previously served as the chairman of Upson County Republican Party.

- Magistrate Courts hear civil cases only in amounts less than $15,000. There are no jury trials in Magistrate Court.
