David Renz

David Renz is a Commission Member of the Georgians First Commission. He studied at the University of Georgia, Young Harris College, and Southern Tech. He helped start a chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs, where he has served every position on the board. He has also been Campaign Chairman for the United Way, President of the CAG Creative Arts Guild, and a finance chairman, deacon, then elder for 12 years at Christ Church Presbyterian. He is married and has one daughter and two grandchildren. 

David Renz is the President of Southern Lubes and Fuels and has worked in the fuel and oil business for 39 years. He has represented Chevron, Shell, Citgo, and Sunoco, along with his private line of specialty oils for the textile business. 

David Renz was appointed by Governor Roy Barnes as the first Chairman of the Brain & Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission in 1999.

David Renz attended Dalton High School, then went on to attend University of Georgia, Young Harris College, and finally Southern Tech, where he received a scholarship to Georgia Tech for textile engineering. He is married and has one daughter and two grandchildren.

Jensen received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He lives in Whitfield County with his wife and daughter. Jensen is a member of Dalton First Methodist Church.

Jensen is the owner of Ace Hardware in Varnell, Georgia.

Jensen is currently the County Commission Chair for Whitfield County. He was elected in 2020 and has served one term.
