Brandon has degrees in English and psychology from Mercer University and studied at Oxford University in England as a Nicholson Scholar. He earned his law degree from Mercer Law School.

Brandon is currently a criminal prosecutor in Laurens County. Previously, he worked for the  Newton County District Attorney’s Office as a Drug Prosecutor. He was also a founding co-chair of the Newton County Domestic Violence Taskforce during this time, and worked at the law firm of Kissiah and Lay.
