Dade County Sentinel, Governor Kemp Appoints DA Chris Arnt to Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit

Chris Arnt earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tulane University and his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. He is a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Chattanooga, TN and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dalton, GA. He and his wife Tracy have two children.

Is a current deputy judge advocate for the National Guard. Has experience as a Chief Assistant for District Attorney Buzz Franklin. Before that, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney to Judge Ralph Van Pelt. Served as a White House Fellow from 2018 to 2019, serving in both the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Defense.

Chris A. Arnt is a Superior Court Judge, he was appointed to fill a vacancy in this position in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, Arnt served as an elected District Attorney in Lookout Mountain's Judicial Circuit.
