Grice Connect, New Superior Court Judge Ronnie Thompson sworn in and on the bench

Ronnie grew up on Tybee Island. He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Armstrong State College and his law degree from Samford University Cumberland School of Law. He and his wife live in Effingham. They have five children and five grandchildren.

Ronnie was previously Effingham County State Court judge,a  part-time Municipal Court judge in Ricon, an attorney in private practice, and a public defender in the Ogeechee Circuit.

Ronnie Thompson is currently Superior Court Judge in Ogeechee Judicial Circuit and is serving his first term.
