Held board, chair, trustee and director positions with the Macon-Bibb Land Bank Authority, the Tubman African American Museum, the United Way of Central Georgia, and the Girl Scouts of Georgia.

As Chairman of the Laws Committee of the Macon-Bibb County Consolidation Transition Task Force, worked to combine and consolidate the City of Macon and Bibb County laws into a single code of ordinances.
