Chris grew up in Taylor Mill. He earned his bachelor's degree from The Citadel and a master's degree in business administration from Northern Kentucky University. He has volunteered for groups such as the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Site Based Decision Making Council at Ryland Elementary, and various children's sports leagues. He lives with his wife and six children in Ryland Heights, and he attends Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
