Kathy is from Georgia. She holds a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is married to her husband, Kurt, with whom they have three children and seven grandchildren together. She is a competitive shooter in the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), and serves on the board of Whittecar Rifle and Pistol Range in Hamilton. She is a Christian.

Michele has worked at First American Title Company in Hamilton, where she started as a receptionist, then became a disbursement clerk, and is now an Escrow Officer. Previously, she was employed by Ravalli County Federal Credit Union for nine years in various roles including Teller, Head Teller, and in operations, and has also worked as a checker for Super One Foods.
