Greg Murphy was the valedictorian of Raleigh Broughton High School and graduated with honors in Pre-Med and Religion from Davidson College, later earning honors at UNC-CH School of Medicine. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married for over 25 years and have three children, with whom they live in Greenville for more than 20 years.
