Judge Amy Lewis to Speak at August 19th WIB Luncheon

Amy earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from Ohio Northern University. She lives in Xenia with her husband, Ron, and their 4 children.

Amy previously served as a magistrate in the Greene County juvenile court and the Xenia city prosecutor.

Amy Lewis currently serves as a judge for the Greene County court of common pleas for the juvenile division. She was appointed to the position in 2021 and is running for re-election to a full term.

As Greene County juvenile court judge for 20 years, oversees all cases involving individuals under 18 who are abused, neglected, or parentless, as well as the emancipation process, and sentencing for certain violent felonies committed by individuals ages 13 to 17.

As interim law director for the city of Xenia, directed the activities of the city’s legal department, provided legal counsel and representation to the city and its officials in civil cases and property disputes, and prosecuted limited criminal matters in the municipal court.

As an assistant prosecutor for Greene County, oversaw civil and criminal prosecutions, presented pre-trial motions in court, prepared cases for trial, produced legal research, opinions, and documents, and conducted interviews with victims, witnesses, and law enforcement officials.
