Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and marketing from Truman State University and a master's of business administration degree from Miami University. Nancy is married to her husband, Bob, with whom she has six children and one grandchild. 

Nancy is a certified public accountant (CPA). She worked as a Private Banking Manager at U.S. Bank, a staff accountant for Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co, CPAs, and a Plant Controller for Corson Packaging of Ohio.

Nancy currently serves as the Butler County Auditor. She was appointed to this position in 2023. She is a former president of the County Treasurers' Association of Ohio and secretary and treasurer of the Southwest Ohio District Treasurers' Association.

Nancy earned a bachelor's of science degree with a double major in accounting and marketing from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO (1992) and acquired her CPA license. She earned her MBA from Miami University in August 2012. Nancy is married to Bob Leshnak and lives in Liberty Township. Bob and Nancy have six adult children between them and one grandson, Owen.

Nancy worked as a Private Banking Manager at U.S. Bank, a staff accountant for Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co, CPAs, and Plant Controller for Corson Packaging of Ohio.

Nancy was appointed to the office of Butler County Auditor by the Butler County Republican Party on Feb. 2, 2023 and was officially sworn in on Feb. 13.
