Daniel E. Polivka previously served as a Trumbull County Commissioner. He was named to this position in 2004 and served for 4 terms. He previously served as a member of the Warren City Council. He was named to this position in 1983 and served for 5 terms. He ran for Trumbull County Commissioner in 2020, but he did not win.

Rick lives in Hubbard, Ohio, and attended Hubbard High School. He is a member of Victory Christian Church in Coitsville. He is a soccer coach with the Hubbard Community Youth League.
