• Criminal Justice — County Prosecutors have a large impact on what the defendant experiences before the trial. Prosecutors can make recommendations on the bail of a defendant, and can engage in negotiations to reach a plea deal. Plea deals happen when the prosecutor and the defendant's attorney reach an agreement so that the defendant does not have to go to trial.
