Terry holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from Tiffin University. He also attended the FBI National Academy and Police Executive Leadership College (PELC). He lives in Montville Township with his wife, Cindy, and their 2 sons. 

Terry previously worked as an officer, sergeant, and police chief with the Montville Township Police Department. He also worked as a special with the Medina Police Department and as a fireman for the Medina Fire Department. He serves as the board president of The Children’s Center of Medina County and the executive director of the Medina County Police Activities League (MCPAL). 

Terry Grice currently serves as the Medina County Sheriff. He was elected to this position in 2020 and is serving his first term.
