Eric earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in safety sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He currently resides in Hempfield, PA with his wife, Susan, and their 7 children – Brooke, Randy, Liberty, Will, Kennedy, Gretchen and Damien.

Eric enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served for 8 years. He is currently a partner with Steel City Safety and previously operated a Bruster’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream franchise for 16 years. He also served as a faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).
