Lynn Boswell

Lynn Boswell is the proud mom of two Austin ISD graduates. She attended public schools in San Antonio and earned degrees in Latin American Studies and Journalism from SMU and a law degree from The University of Texas. She currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Lynn Boswell is currently a Trustee for the Austin ISD Board of Trustees. She has worked as a network news producer with NBC News in New York, a series producer for the Austin-based PBS programs Texas Monthly Talks and Overheard with Evan Smith, and now makes independent documentaries.

Lynn Boswell has served as an Austin ISD Trustee since 2020 and has held the position of board secretary since 2022. She has chaired the board’s Intergovernmental Relations Committee during two legislative sessions.
