Marisela is from Mexico. She attended Rock Valley Community College and earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication from Framingham State University. Marisela then earned a master's degree in public administration and a doctorate degree in management and organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix. She resides in Spring with her husband. She has also volunteered for HR Houston and the Education for Tomorrow Alliance.
