Councilwoman Jennifer Ramey Cook is a lifelong resident of Ward 2 and has lived on Anthony Street her entire life. A graduate of LaFayette High School, Jennifer has long been involved in local business and civic life. She formerly owned Sew Cute!, a boutique on the square originally opened by her parents, where she continued their legacy of small business ownership in downtown LaFayette. She currently works as a practice manager at a local dental office, where she oversees daily operations and supports patient care. Her professional experience has given her a strong foundation in leadership, organization, and service—skills she brings into her work with the city. Jennifer is also actively involved in the LaFayette Farmers Market and enjoys supporting local growers, artisans, and small businesses. She is married to Jason Cook, and together they are proud to call Ward 2 home.
