Roper III, Doug P. | Vidalia Georiga

Doug Roper is from Vidalia, Georgia. He has a bachelor’s degree in speech and communications from Clemson University and a degree in public administration from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Marly, have two sons.

Doug is currently the Mayor of Vidalia. He previously served as the City Manager of Vidalia from 2018 to 2023 and as a member of the Vidalia City Schools Board of Education for nine years.
