Andy Shaver is a Charlotte native and a fifth-generation resident of Chester Township in Eaton County, Michigan. He and his wife, Emily, have been married for 21 years and live there with their five children. Shaver serves as pastor of Real Life Church in Charlotte, a non-denominational Christian church, and, along with his wife, has been successful entrepreneurs in local business.

Andy Shaver’s campaign for Eaton County Commissioner (partial term ending December 31, 2026) is his first entry into politics.
