Amy Morton is originally from Macon, Georgia. She earned a bachelor's degree in religion and philosophy from Mars Hill University and a master's degree in family studies from Mercer University. She has two children and a granddaughter. 

Amy is a small business owner and family therapist. She owns Southern Majority LLC, a communications firm based in downtown Macon. She previously worked as a marriage and family therapist for more than 30 years. 

Amy currently serves as chief executive officer of Southern Majority, LLC, a political communications firm she has operated in Macon. She has also operated a private marriage and family therapy practice in Macon. Earlier in her career, Amy co-founded Better Georgia, a progressive nonprofit organization, and previously served as chair of the board of directors of Georgia's WIN List, a group that elects women to the Georgia legislature.

Kerry Hatcher is originally born in Macon, Georgia, and grew up in Crawford County. He earned a bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
