Mrs. Kasey Martin has been hired as the Career and Development Coordinator for Mount Airy Middle School.

Thanks to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Grade Expansion Grant awarded to Mount Airy City Schools (MACS) in 2018, the district is pleased to announce that Mrs. Kasey Martin is joining staff.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Martin has planned, organized, and implemented events and activities that have allowed students to learn through experiences and by connecting with local community members, leaders, and businesses. Not only has she worked closely with local industry, she has connections with many colleges which allows her to speak to students about the variety of pathways leading to careers following graduation.

When asked about her new role she shared, “I am absolutely thrilled at the opportunity to serve the students of Mount Airy Middle School as their Career Development Coordinator. I am looking forward to working with each student in ensuring they are aware of the opportunities that await them, while determining the career field of their choice. I am also equally excited to provide support in their educational journey to make those career choices and dreams a reality. Go Bears!”
