I’m a fourth generation North Carolinian living in south Charlotte with my wife Caroline and my 1 year old daughter Wren. I got interested in civic engagement when I saw an increasing number of people disengaging because of the divisive nature of our politics.

To combat the national epidemic of political divisiveness I worked on local solutions. I started a nonprofit to make cross-perspective political conversations more accessible. I worked with Indivisible to help young people in Charlotte engage in civic life.
