On September 25th, 2024, Gaston County District Attorney’s Office will be hosting its first annual National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. In partnership with Hope United, the Gaston County District Attorney’s Office wants to take time to remember those who have died by violence. In addition to their monthly Homicide Support Group, this event will help to foster and support the families who have lost their loved ones. District Attorney Travis Page says “Our office is fully committed to supporting our community and improving the lives of our victims. The Homicide Family Support Group is an initiative born from that commitment, and we hope you will stand with our homicide families on September 25th as we commemorate a National Day of Remembrance.
