Brian is the sheriff of Brunswick County. He began his law enforcement career in 2004 with the Brunswick County Sheriff s Office. He previously worked in the patrol unit, K9 unit, and a special operations unit that focused on street-level drug interdiction. He was promoted to chief deputy in August 2022. 

Brian has worked in law enforcement since 2004.
