Rudy works as the co-founder of Southeastern Cars and Parts, Inc.

Rudy currently serves as a member of the Wilkes County Board of Education. He was first elected in 2010 and is serving his fourth term. He previously served as a member of the Wilkes County Board of Education. He served one term from 2000 to 2004.
