Allison Campolo is from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. She has a bachelor 27s degree in Spanish from the University of North Texas, a second bachelor 27s in biology from the University of Texas at Dallas, a master 27s in international agriculture from Oklahoma State University, and a PhD in biomedical science from Oklahoma State University. She lives in Euless with her husband and son.

Allison is a biomedical research scientist. She also founded and served as president of Tarrant Together, a county-wide voter registration initiative, in 2019 and 2020. She previously ran for State Senate in 2018 and led the coordinated campaign for the Democratic Party that same year. 

Allison is currently the chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party. She previously ran for Texas State Senate in 2018.

- County Party Chairs appoint and oversee local election officials and workers, manage candidate filings and ballot placement for county offices, serve on the county election board, and help certify local election results.
