Tim O'Hare has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. He has a wife, four children, and is a member of First Baptist Grapevine.

Tim is a judge for Tarrant County. He previously served as mayor of Farmers Branch from 2008 to 2011. Before taking public office, he spent more than two decades building a successful law firm and real estate business. He also served as treasurer of the Republican Party of Texas from 2020 to 2021. Tim was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to the State Board of Dental Examiners to help combat Medicaid fraud. He also served as chairman of the Tarrant County Civil Service Commission from 2018 to 2022. 

Tim previously spent more than two decades owning a personal injury law firm and real estate business.

Tim is currently the Tarrant County Judge. He was elected in 2022 and his current term ends in 2027. Before becoming county judge, Tim served as the mayor of Farmers Branch from 2008 to 2011. He was a Farmers Branch city council member from 2005 to 2008.
