Ken is from Houston, Texas. He attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. He lives with his daughter in Houston.

Ken is a judge on the Texas Fourteenth District Court of Appeals. He works at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, where he has been for twelve years. He previously worked as judge of the 334th District Court and the 152nd District Court, partner at Fridge, Resendez and Wise LLC, and adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center.

Ken Wise is currently a judge for Place 7 of the Texas 14th District Court of Appeals. He was appointed to the court by Governor Rick Perry in October 2013, first elected in November 2014.
