Raquel is originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She attended Texas A&M University and earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Prior to her election, she spent 19 years as a prosecuting attorney on felony cases. Her experience includes work within the Dallas and Fort Worth District Attorney Offices, as well as the Dallas City Attorney’s Office.

Raquel "Rocky" Jones was first elected to the 203rd District Court in 2018.
