Sergio is from Fort Worth, Texas. He attended East End High School in the rural town of Bigelow, Arkansas. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Wesleyan University. He graduated from the Criminal Justice Training Center at Tarrant County College’s Northwest Campus. He is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in criminal justice at the University of Texas at Arlington. He lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Frances Granados, and their four children: Alexis, Jake, Alena and Leila. He attends St. Andrews Catholic Church.
