Sherri holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree, both from Savannah State University, and a Law Degree from Texas Southern University.  She has a daughter and a grandson. She also serves as the Vice Chair of International Economic Development on the ask Force for NAC is also the founding member of the Top Ladies of Distinction and a member of the 4th Congressional District of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women.
