Alana has a daughter. She earned her bachelor's degree in mass communications from Grambling University, her master's degree in human resources management/personnel administration, an MBA from American InterContinental University, and a Ph.D. in applied management and decision science from Walden University. Stephanie is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and currently resides with her husband and four children in Newton County. She graduated from Lower Richland High School, then studied political science at Mercer University, public administration at Georgia College & State University, and earned her law degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School.
