2021 Local Elections Runoff

Alfred was born in New Jersey and raised in Atlanta. As a young adult, he won "Freestyle Friday Champion" on the BET show "106 & Park." He suspended his music career to raise his niece and nephew after his brother was convicted of a crime. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in public policy. He is a father, and he lives in East Atlanta in the Custer/McDonough/Guice community.

Alfred teaches economics, personal finance and government at Charles Drew High School in Clayton County. He worked for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities advocating for individuals who need access to mental and physical healthcare. He started his career lobbying the Georgia General Assembly as a legislative aid for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and the Working Families Caucus.

Jereme was born in Liberty City and raised in Gwinnett County. When he was ten years old, his father went to prison, so he helped his mother clean buildings and housing until he was 15 years old, when he got a job as a bagger at Kroger. He attended Georgia State University. Right before the pandemic began, he moved back to Atlanta, where he lives with his dog, Zion.

Michael was born and raised in Atlanta. He attended Frederick Douglass High School, Morehouse College, and Georgia State University. He has a certification for the Senior Executives in State and Local Government from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He is a member of Antioch Baptist Church North.

Michael was the Deputy Director and Chief Programs Officer for the Atlanta branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He also served on the national board of the American Diabetes Association from 2011 to 2013.

Michael Julian Bond has been the city council member for Post 1 At Large since November 2009. He is a member of the Committee on Council, the Community Development and Human Resources Committee, and the Public Safety Committee. From 1994 to 2001, Michael represented District 3 on city council, and he was President Pro Tempore and chair of the Public Safety and Community Development committees.
