Jason grew up on military installations around the world. He attended Hampton University and University of Louisville where he received a bachelor's degree in political science and public policy. He is currently attending Howard University to earn a master's degree in business administration. He is president of the Westview Community Organization, and was chairman of his neighborhood planning unit. He lives in the Westview Community.

Professional background

Jason works as the Manager of Brands, Leadership and New Hotel Training for the 16 IHG brands. He also developed training programs for the YMCA and Starbucks. He was previously licensed as a minister at the age of 20 and ordained an elder before the age of 30.

Political background

Jason Hudgins' campaign for city council is his first entry into politics.
