City of Duluth

Marline has a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Phoenix and a master's degree in business and technology from University of Georgia. She is a member of the Duluth Zoning Board of Appeals and the Veterans Marker Committee. She moved to Duluth in 1998.

Marline worked for McKesson, IHG, Dell and ABB. She previously served in the U.S. Army, stationed in South Korea, Saudi Arabia and several American bases, spent 11 years on active duty and is a Desert Storm veteran.

Marline Thomas is currently the Duluth city council member representing Post 2. She was appointed by city council in July 2020 to complete the term of the former city council member.
