Marietta Talks

Ted was born and raised in Atlanta. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles. He has lived in Marietta since 2002. He and his wife have three children. They live in the Kennesaw Avenue Historic District.

Ted owns the Third Door, a showroom for their two camper businesses by day and a speakeasy by night, with his wife, Lara. They are the southeastern representatives for Happier Camper, and his wife runs Temperance Trailers, which rents out trailers as mobile bars. He also owns an architectural design business. His business worked on the design and construction of the Georgia Aquarium, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Ponce City Market and the expansion of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Ted Ferreira's campaign for city council is his first entry into politics.

Wants to provide better city services to entrepreneurs, workforce programs and youth job opportunities.

Plans to hold regular community meetings for residents to provide information and for them to share input and concerns.

Said, "I'm hoping to use some of my own experience to help the city continue to evolve into a place where people can make a home, start new businesses and raise happy and healthy families."
